The
Department of Social and Cultural Analysis and the Department of
Spanish and Portuguese seek an Assistant Professor (tenure track) in
Latino Studies whose work actively engages Latin American Studies. The
appointment will begin on September 1, 2015,
pending administrative and budgetary approval. We seek a wide-ranging
scholar who brings a transnational or hemispheric perspective to the
study of history, literature, or other cultural production, and who will
enhance and complement programmatic strengths in both departments.
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese required. In addition to
undergraduate teaching, the candidate hired will teach and advise
